A Wedding Day Rooted in Family

Family was at the heart of everything Lauren and Jake planned. Instead of a traditional wedding party, their family was their wedding party, and both spent the morning getting ready alongside their siblings, parents and nieces and nephews. The energy was emotional, joyful, and full of anticipation — the kind of morning that reminds you what weddings are truly about.

The overall design perfectly reflected their vision: beachy, classic and modern, with timeless greens and whites that felt effortlessly elegant against the coastal backdrop of Cape Cod. Lauren had portable putting greens out on the Boat House lawn for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour, because Jake loves to golf. Every detail felt intentional, elevated, and true to them.

A Night to Remember

From the moment the reception began, the celebration was electric. Guests filled the dance floor all night long — starting with an energetic Hora that set the tone and continuing with incredible live music by Hudson of Night Shift Entertainment, who kept the party going without pause.

And just when everyone thought the night couldn’t get better, Lauren and Jake surprised their guests yet again. While brides often do an outfit change, this time the groom stole the show. Jake reappeared at the afterparty in a full Dumb and Dumber-inspired outfit, joined by his brother, completely shocking (and delighting) the crowd. It was one of those moments no one will ever forget.

The afterparty continued with DJ Victor, keeping the energy high well into the night. Guests refueled with sliders, french fries and pizza. Lauren made sure everyone stayed comfortable by handing out slippers for the ladies, ensuring the dance floor stayed packed.

A Perfect Farewell

The weekend wrapped up with a relaxed farewell brunch, giving everyone one last chance to soak in the magic before heading home, hearts full, feet sore from dancing, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Lauren and Jake’s wedding wasn’t just beautiful, it was joyful, personal, and endlessly fun. A true reflection of who they are and the incredible families who surround them. Mazel tov!
